Though our name is "SADD," we want you to be happy!

Mental health and wellness is just as important as physical health, particularly for youth! Today's students are faced with a myriad of new challenges that can generate depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. Social challenges, academic pursuits, and current events can all negatively impact a developing mind. To support youth and address these rising challenges, it is important to enhance our available resources, understanding, and culture surrounding mental health. 

Below is SADD's "Mental Health and Wellness - Resource Guide," which has compiled for students, parents/guardians, school faculty, and community partners. Feel free to read through and utilize them in addition to continuing conversations about mental health. A SADD Chapter is an excellent way to create a supportive community invested in each other's well being.
